This year we are raising money for York-based St Leonard’s Hospice, who provide care and support for terminally ill people, and people with life limiting illnesses. We’ve raised £2,800 (inc GiftAid) through ticket sales and donations during Dream Drams II and an incentivised JustGiving page. In our first year (2022), we tasted drams from the new and unusual to old and rare, from Orkney to Australia, introducing people to whisky and surprising seasoned collectors. We were part of the York Food and Drink Festival, with paired tastings involving cheese and chocolate, and finished the year with a Christmas Micro-Festival bringing the experience of a larger festival to our growing York Whisky Community.
