Love Whisky? Love Cheese? III (Sat 21st June, Afternoon, Love Cheese, Gillygate)
After a break in 2024, the lure of fine cheese and fine whiskies have lured us back for a collaboration with Jordan from Love Cheese.

Summer Festival (Sat 12th July, 1pm – 6pm, York Medical Society)
It’s back! … as an intro, I’ll borrow the words of a previous attendee:
“Just a brief note to acknowledge what a brilliant event the Festival on Saturday was and to pass on the thanks of my little band of co-conspirators. Each and every one of us enjoyed the day enormously. The venue is superb and we felt the numbers worked very well in the space afforded. You hit the nail soundly on the head when you mentioned that you wished to create a more social atmosphere with time and space to chat with fellow guests and the stand holders. You certainly achieved that.”

Club trip to Whisky Indy Love (Sat 13th Sept, Newcastle – Info)
Jasper and Jim made an advance scouting mission to Newcastle in 2024 and found a delightful festival focusing on Indy bottlers. A spin out from the North East Whisky Appreciation Society Facebook group, the festival Karl and team have put together is one quick LNER rail trip away so we’ll try and organise a group outing.

Sherry & Whisky II (Fri 26th Sept, Evening, Tabanco by Ambiente)
Our first sherry and tapas collaboration was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (more info or watch) so we’re plotting another fine gastronomic and fine drinking experience as part of the 2025 York Food Festival.

Whisky Lounge York Whisky Festival (Sat 25th Oct, York Guildhall)
The 20th anniversary of the Whisky Lounge means a York Whisky Festival you don’t want to miss! We’ll have a presence at the festival and will also be working with TWL on other excitements as they celebrate their double decade of bringing great whisky to York (+ UK).

Dream Drams III (Sat 6th Dec, 7:30pm – 9:30pm, York Medical Society)
Our fastest sellout event is back for 2025. After we raised £2k on the night for St Leonard’s Hospice in the 2024 event which was also great fun, this one had to go back into the schedule.
