Club trip to Whisky Indy Love (Sat 13th Sept, 12-3:30pm, Newcastle – Info)
Jasper and Jim made an advance scouting mission to Newcastle in 2024 and found a delightful festival focusing on Indy bottlers. A spin out from the North East Whisky Appreciation Society Facebook group, the festival Karl and team have put together is one quick rail trip away so quite a few of us are grabbing the 10:23 to Newcastle.

Sherry & Whisky II (Fri 26th Sept, Evening, Tabanco by Ambiente)
Our first sherry and tapas collaboration was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (more info or watch) so we’ve lined up another fine gastronomic and fine drinking experience as part of the 2025 York Food Festival.

Islay & the Chocolate Factory (Sat 18th Oct, 7:30pm – 9:30pm, York Medical Society)
In our ‘Cocoa & Drams’ series, we found out that people love us combining chocolate and whisky.
At Dream Drams I, we found out that even the staunchest peat hater could be turned (Port Charlotte 21 eh Dee?), so what about a tasting that embraces some of the smokey, peaty delights from Islay and keeps our taste buds excited with delicious paired chocolate?
Our first October tasting will offer you:

Whisky Lounge York Whisky Festival (Sat 25th Oct, York Guildhall)
The 20th anniversary of the Whisky Lounge means a York Whisky Festival you don’t want to miss! We’ll have a presence at the festival and will also be working with TWL on other excitements as they celebrate their double decade of bringing great whisky to York (+ UK).

Dream Drams III (Sat 6th Dec, 7:30pm – 9:30pm, York Medical Society)
Our fastest sellout event is back for 2025. After we raised £2k on the night for St Leonard’s Hospice in the 2024 event which was also great fun, this one had to go back into the schedule.
